Kaveena is perfect on and off the field

Kaveena, who was the school’s Head Girl, was also a Malaysia Games athlete who won many medals in her sports career.

She juggles her time between sports and studies by keeping her goals in front of her each day.

Her sport achievements include the 2008 Best Athlete Award at Bangsar schools level, gold medals in 400m at state level and silver in 100m and 200m at state level.

At the Malaysia Games, she represented Kuala Lumpur in the 4x100m and 4x400m.

Together with Sek Sri Dasmesh Head Boy Dalip Singh, who scored 12As, they have set high standards for students at the school.

Like Kaveena, Dalip is an amazing leader and athlete. He has just completed National Service where he was selected as the Ketua Kompeni heading 150 students at the Junaco Park Centre in Sibu.

Dalip loves hiking and athletics, having represented Bangsar District at state level competition. Dalip was also shortlisted for centralised training for the 2008 Malaysia Games.

Classmates since nine years old, Kaveena and Dalip have also spent time guiding and mentoring their classmates at school.

They also often assisted teachers with their computer skills.

Their parents have played a big role in setting a strong foundation for them, with the right mix of values and goals.

Kaveena has set her goal on studying philosophy and political science at Oxford University while Dalip is keen to read economics at Harvard.
